Eugenol, Quercetin, Flavonoids

Based on presence of at least 5% total phenolic as quercetin.
Clove: Clove has a long record of nutritional and medical use. Clove essential oil has been used as an analgesic and local anesthetic in dentistry to the present day. Clove essential oil is used for symptomatic treatment of toothache and dry socket. The main ingredient in Clove essential oil is eugenol (4-allyl-2-methoxyphenol), which comprises 60-90% of the essential oil. In animals, eugenol has considerable antipyretic properties, resembling that of acetaminophen. In vitro, eugenol inhibits the biosynthesis of prostaglandin, Thromboxane B-2 formation and platelet aggregation caused by arachidonic acid. Research confirms the platelet aggregation inhibition and antithrombotic activities of clove.
Toothbrush tree: Toothbrush tree, which was first recommended by prophet Mohammad (SAAS) for cleaning, strengthening of the teeth and prevention of decay, has been used for more than 1400 years in many countries. Recently, the World Health Organization has recommended the use of toothbrush tree wood as an effective tool for oral hygiene. The wooden root of this plant is used as a toothbrush. Due to its alleviation of toothache, decoction of its root and branches has been traditionally used, and this effect has been demonstrated in animals as well.(2) In comparison to conventional solutions for irrigation of dental root canal, 15% alcoholic extract of toothbrush tree has demonstrated considerable antimicrobial activity, like that of sodium hypochlorite 5.25% and chlorhexidine 0.2% and has had significant difference from normal saline solution.(3) The antimicrobial activity of toothbrush tree wood has been demonstrated against various aerobic and anaerobic bacteria like S. pyrogenes, S. mutans, S faecalis, S. aureus, S. epidermidis, A. actinomycete comitans, C. albicans and B. gingivalis. The various parts of the plant, due to their tannin -which prevents the bacteria adhesion to the teeth-, sulfur and isothiocyanate  compound content, have strong and broad antimicrobial effects on various microorganisms.
The chloride present in toothbrush tree wood prevents formation of dental plaque. Therefore, individuals who use toothbrush tree wood over an extended course of time have white teeth. The considerable fluoride content, along with other compounds in the trunk of the plant, contributes to its strong cavity fighting properties.
Propolis: Proplis is a resin compound which is gathered by honey bee from various trees. The history of use of propolis for cosmetic purposes, and as an anti-inflammatory and wound healing agent, goes back to 300 BC. In in vitro studies, various extracts of propolis have demonstrated broad antimicrobial activity, which has been stronger in the case of gram-positive and yeasts. It has also shown synergistic effects with several antibiotics. Due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, propolis has been used in mouthwashes, oral gels and buccal products. In vitro studies have demonstrated the activity of propolis against prevalent periodontal pathogens like candida species and the groups of Streptococcus mutans. In one study, the possibility of the effect of caffeic acid on a cellular level for affecting epithelial layer function against microbes has been proposed. In comparison to milk, saline and Hank's Balanced Salt Solution, use of propolis as a medium for conservation of tooth after its extraction, for instance in cases of trauma, has shown that the teeth conserved in propolis have had a higher number of viable cells.
